VaporGenie Vaporizer
| Overview |
Actually works quite well Posted by Poguerioulsedeague on Feb 23rd, 2007 I just thought I should post a review to offset the bad ones here, because they almost convinced me not to get a vaporgenie. The main problems people seem to have are inconsistant vapor and difficulty using it. Those haven’t been issues for me. I get thick vapor every time, and it’s not hard. Just hold a bic next to the hole and suck the flame down into it, not quite far enough to touch the grey filter. I haven’t burned the material yet, or gotten wispy, unsatisfying hits (after the first one or two to figure out how it works). The main selling point is portability. It’s just like a pipe, making it easy to carry around (actually easier because stuff stays in the bowl) or use with friends. There’s practically zero heat up time. Plus you can’t beat $50 (the thing saying 60 is wrong). I gave it 3 stars for efficiency because I suspect no breath-controlled vape can be as efficient as a higher end forced-air setup, but it definitely compares with an Aromazap, the only other I’ve tried. Not counting the Ubie I suppose, which is crap. |
