The Vapolution is one of the few vaporizers that can really be considered all-glass (no screen either). It is based off of the VaporTech design but uses a safer, more reliable glass covered ceramic heater. The Vapolution is well insulated and the heating element is completely self-contained. The design is unique and refreshingly different from a lot of other vaporizers on the market, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a fair amount smaller than I had expected. There is a bit of a learning curve (more so than most vaporizers) but after a few sessions it becomes quite easy to use. Be sure to take slower draws in order to keep from inhaling small particles that may fall through the bowl. While the bowl is inside the vaporizer, inhale every 20-50 seconds or risk burning your herb. If you need a break, just take the bowl out and set it aside. The bowl is fairly small but works great for personal use. The fact that two bowls/hoses are included definitely helps to compensate for any drawbacks. I am very happy with the full bodied vapor this unit produces - because the glass bowl sits inside the heater, the vapor is produced by means of combination of convection and conduction. One minor drawback of the long, narrow bowl is that the tobacco at one end gets a little overcooked while the opposite end may be a little undercooked. |
