The Hot Box Vaporizer is visually appealing, solidly built, and extremely functional and the wide range of stone, glass, and tile options for the Hot Box that make every unit truly unique and can blend in with nearly any decor. Our favorite aspect of the Hot Box is the wand design which we prefer to any other wand/whip-style vaporizer we have tested. Although not as visually appealing as other wands, the 2-part system allows the screen to be easily removed and cleaned which drastically improves the quality of the vapor as well as the lifetime of the screen. Although the heating element angle isn't as ideal as the Silver Surfer, it is much better than the Vapor Cannon or Vapor Brothers units and the deeper wand design prevents spillage of any tobacco or botanicals. When switched on, the Hot Box glows orange (which was a pleasant surprise to us) so it's fairly easy to tell if it is on or off. In our tests, the Hot Box took about 10 minutes to reach its ideal temperature and can be left on for hours with no issues (we left it on overnight with no problems). The top and sides of the box do get somewhat hot (as the name obviously suggests) but the bottom stayed relatively cool and we had no problems picking up and moving the box when needed. The Hot Box design helps prevent the hot air from escaping which allows one to take consecutive inhales without needing to pause between. The combination of improved heat retainment and a better wand design provided a more even burn than other vaporizers in its class. We suggest the Hot Box to anyone looking for a decorative, functional, and easy to use vaporizer at a very reasonable price. |
