SV vs VC vs SS = ??
I have really been trying to get a feel for THE BEST of the best vaporizers.
My decision has come down to three finalists and I am having trouble narrowing it any further. Super Vapezilla | Vapor Cannon | Silver Surfer
ANYONE with experience with all three?? Please share! Especially interested in the SV vs. the other two.
I am aware of the vaporization benefits so no need to 'educate' me on those. Also, the $$ isn't the big factor in my decision. I just don’t want
to pay an EXTRA $300+ to find out that the SV does the same thing as the other two. Is it that much better??? If it is - I don’t mind the price
point..... But I need proof beyond their multi-website marketing campaign and a H.T. endorsement.

I'm planning on getting a Super Vapezilla shortly. I've had experience with the other two..
I would spring for the Silver Surfer over the Vapor Cannon. I much prefer the SSV's heating element angle, custom colors/glass, and the quality of
construction/parts. I did find that I was having to stir the SSV's bowl a bit more often than the Cannon but the quality of vapor is the same.
I can't say how much better the Super Vapezilla is until I get my hands on one but a few things about it
impress me enough to want one:
- Digital temperature control
- Automatic heat adjustment based on how fast/slow you are drawing
- Interesting method for channeling hot air for more even burn = less stiring
- Quality male/female handsfree ground glass whip
The Super Vapezilla draws up to 400 watts which seems like a lot considering the SSV/Cannon are ~40 watts
only, I think this extra power consumption is required in order to maintain a steady temperature throughout the inhalation.

I am eager to hear about your experience with the SV!
I've considered the different points you mentioned, digi temp control, heat adjustment, handsfree, etc.
I was origionally being swayed by the digi temp control, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it is really no different than a dial.
I mean, once you've found your "sweet spot" be it on the dial or numerical - there it is.
You brought up something very interesting that I did not know. I had no idea those others were only about 40 watts. That speaks VOLUMES. The warm
up time of the SV must be less time than it takes to load it. That's a lotta wattage!!
Please keep me posted on your comparison with the new SV!!

Cool, looks like I will be ordering the Super Vapezilla sometime early next week.. looking forward to
testing her out. The digital temp isn't a big deal, but if you have a collection of different herbs it would be a bit easier to dial in the right
temp for each.
I'll have to see how fast it heats up, they say 2-3 minutes which is respectable, with 400 watts of power it seems like it could warm up in under a
minute. The SSV warms up in 2-3 minutes and the 'Cannon takes 5-10 minutes. More watts isn't necessarily better, it could drain your pockets with
power consumption depending on how often it's used but it's nothing compared to an oven or microwave.
Oh, you might also want to consider the AroMed, it's similar to the SuperVapezilla but $50 cheaper and
includes a water filter.

That's the way it ususally goes wgb. They forget to come back and review the unit. Although I own and use several vapes, I don't have any experience
with the 3 you're looking at. I would not buy a Super Vapezilla though, simply because I'm not gonna pay
$500+ for a unit with no parts warranty. The digital controller will run you $200-250 if it fails. The Natural Goods unit from Vaporstore is the same
digital forced air unit, with a year warranty, and a best offer bid on ebay will probably get you one for about $250. The Silver Surfer looks cool, is
a good buy with low repair costs, and is the one you can customize. Of the 3 you're looking at, it's the one I'd buy.
